Really didn't expect so many names to drop out in 15 years, but apparently boy rankings are more versatile near the bottom than we thought. Also impresive is the number of boy names that have migrated to the feminine side since then.
 
Shaquille was definitely "THE" trend name of the year, thanks to Shaquille O'Neal.
 
Donte/Darion and similar names were very popular at the time, along with "quan" rhyming names. Alternatives to Dakota and it's nicknames were also charting numerously.
 
Extra info on 1994: It was the year the ever-popular Jayden first charted (even though Jaden was already there). It was the year before the huge spark in popularity of the name Bailey - thanks to the TV series Party Of 5.
